It’s a big year for Reed Gift Fairs as they celebrate their 50th anniversary! Australia’s leading #retail show brought new product categories at Retail Quarter Melbourne & Reed Gift Fairs Sydney. Retailers can now explore more than 500 brands across Home, Fashion, Kids & Family and Surprise & Delight – with two brand new categories, Travel and Tech. For our team, Reed Gift Fairs 2019 is more than just a new look. With refreshed categories and a whole new creative, the production team curated on-the-floor education sessions with the Retail Therapy offering. There was also a brand-new feature, the Retail Activator Pod, where retailers received free business consultations from leading industry experts focused on design and digital, POS and customer experience. This helped attendees have a truly inspirational and transformative experience to take back with them. The April show was a roaring success, and now the team is gearing up for their biggest retail show of the year, Reed Gift Fairs Melbourne in August! We’re wishing them the best of luck. At our #events and venues, you’re bound to stumble on something amazing! Reed Exhibitions Austria sponsored the Life Ball, one of the world’s biggest AIDS charity events at the Messe Wien Exhibition & Congress Center as part of the city’s #EuroPride festivities. Each year it attracts up to 45,000 guests and on-lookers, and has previously been attended by top names such as Elton John, Naomi Campbell and Vivienne Westwood. It’s raised over 30 million euros in its lifetime since its first edition in 1993! Here’s Marisa and Melanie from our team visiting the debutantes during dance rehearsals, and Julia’s amazing costume entry that won her 2 tickets from us worth over 300 euros. Last month, seven #PeopleofReed from our #Beijing office spent volunteer time at a school for autistic children. They each worked closely with the kids to provide support and brought gifts and greetings from the rest of the office to celebrate national Children’s Day. Well done everyone!
